Committee Reports
Public Forum : Citizen statements should be limited to five (5) minutes per subject. Although the public may speak on any item that is not included on this agenda as a ‘Public Hearing or Forum’, the Council may not respond or discuss the issue brought forward at this time. In accordance with open meeting laws, the council must notice an item on the agenda to allow discussion on that matter. Your comments will be considered and may be placed on a future agenda for further discussion.

Old Business:
1. Fire Chief’s contract and oath.
New Business:
1. Dennis Bostwick to present petition in support of the Police Chief.
2. Discuss paying $126,100 down on the loan to Palmyra State Bank for the Hahn property.
3. Appoint length of terms for Police and Fire Commission members.
4. Discuss insurance policies for all village insurance for 2012.
5. Discuss employee handbook drug testing and physical requirements.
6. The Board will convene into closed session pursuant to 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility specifically the police department personnel.
After the meeting has been properly convened, the Village President will announce to all those present the purpose of the meeting and the fact that the Board intends to convene in closed session for the above-delineated purposes. Following that announcement, upon motion duly made and seconded and acted upon by the majority of the members present as required under §19.85(1)(a), Stats., the closed session will take place which will be attended by the Village Board, Village Clerk.
You are further notified that at the end of the Closed Session, the Village Board may
convene in open session pursuant to §19.85(2), Stats., for possible additional discussion
and action concerning any matter discussed.

This is the agenda for the 02/06/12 Village Board meeting as of Friday Feb. 3, 2012 and is subject to modification prior to said meeting pursuant to the Wisconsin Open Meetings Law. For additional information Phone 262-495-8316.
Members of the Fire and Police Commission may attend the above noticed meeting. The only action to be taken at the above noticed meeting will be action by the Village Board
