Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Municipal services in the Village of Palmyra are provided by the Public Works Department, consisting of the Public Works Superintendent, two additional full time employees and seasonal worker(s). The DPW is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Village of Palmyra’s Water Department, Sewer Department, Street Department, Storm Water system, and four Village parks. Maintenance of other municipal buildings and grounds is also the performed by the DPW. The Public Service Commission regulates the Palmyra Water Department. THERE IS A BOX IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC WORKS SHOP AT 203 JEFFERSON ST. THAT HAS A SAND/SALT MIX IN FOR VILLAGE RESIDENTS TO USE. ONE BUCKET PER CUSTOMER PLEASE.
