16.01 MOVEMENT OF STRUCTURES PROHIBITED. (Cr. #91-9)

There will be no further buildings permitted to be moved from existing locations into the Village of Palmyra. No person shall utilize the streets and highways within the Village of Palmyra for the purpose of moving an existing building from a location outside the Village of Palmyra to vacant lots within the Village.

16.02 PENALTIES. (Cr. #91-9)

Any person, firm, or corporation that fails to comply with the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit not less than $500 nor more than $2,500 and costs of prosecution for each violation, and in default of payment of such forfeiture and costs shall be imprisoned in the County Jail until payment thereof, but not 90 days. Each day a violation exists or continues shall constitute a separate offense and individual violation of this ordinance.
